Service Description
SEWING CLASS FOR BEGINNERS Learn how to sew your first garment with a friend. Annie will show you all the sewing basics from start to finish. This course will include a beginner pattern of your choice from our library. All equipment and supplies are provided EXCEPT fabric. By the end of your course, you will have completed a handmade garment! This plan is for 2 people. NOTE: This class time is 6 hours broken up into 2 days (3 hrs/day). $350 total Please note your 2nd class time during booking.
Cancellation Policy
Class Preparation & Scheduling: Because each class is customized just for you, significant preparation takes place before your session. For this reason, all class bookings are non-refundable. After registering, you’ll receive an email with your pattern choices and a Measurement Form. To keep your class on schedule, this form must be completed within 2 days of receiving it. If it is not submitted in time, By A Thread reserves the right to reschedule your session. Rescheduling: We know life gets busy, and we’re happy to help when schedules change. A $25 reschedule fee applies to student-requested changes. This fee is waived if By A Thread needs to reschedule your class. Please submit reschedule requests at least 24 hours in advance. Classes will remain on hold until the reschedule fee is paid. Planning Your Success: For the best learning experience and momentum, we strongly recommend booking your second class within one month of your first session. Class Expiration: Because our studio has limited seating and prepares materials ahead of time: Class purchases are valid for 3 months from the date of purchase. Any unused classes after that time will expire, and a new enrollment will be required. This policy helps us serve every student fairly while ensuring we can provide a prepared, high-quality experience for you. Any items left in the studio will be donated after 3 months.
